Great Adventure Activities For Your Bucket List
When you start to get older you’ll often look back on your life and wonder whether you’ve experienced enough or if you just let the years slip by unnoticed. If that worries you, it’s not too late to do something about it. The idea of a bucket list is popular in movies and TV shows but it’s a great way for you to get the most out of life in the real world as well. There are all sorts of things you can put on there including travel destinations, life goals, and most importantly, new adventurous activities you can try. It’s a great way to have new experiences and keep the family fit at the same time. If you’re stuck for ideas, try some of these.
Skydiving
The prospect of skydiving is a pretty terrifying one; getting up there in an aeroplane and just throwing yourself out seems pretty crazy. The thing is, once you get past that initial fear and take the plunge, you’ll feel an exhilarating rush that you can’t find anywhere else. Don’t worry about the dangers, you’ll be doing a tandem jump with an instructor the first time you do it anyway so they’ll handle all of the parachute pulling etc.
Diving
If you don’t think you can handle skydiving, why not try some regular diving? Anybody that’s interested in wildlife should definitely go diving in an exotic country once in their life. If you’re looking for snorkel gear, SportzBits review the best options here. Some of the best diving locations in the world are in fairly remote or distant countries so you’ll have to travel quite a bit but it’s definitely worth it. Australia is one of the best countries to go diving in because it has loads of great locations around its coast where you can see all sorts of incredible wildlife and natural features under the sea. It’s an experience like no other and one that you shouldn’t miss out on.
Safari
When you’ve been diving but you’ve still got a thirst for wildlife adventure, a safari should be next on the list. You’ll get the opportunity to see some of the most amazing animals in the world like lions, elephants, zebra and buffalo in their natural habitat. I guess you already know that Africa is the best place to go on safari with plenty of brilliant locations across the continent. Going on safari can be pretty expensive but there are last minute deals available which make it a little more affordable.
Climbing
This is one that you should try to get in when you’re a bit younger because if you wait until you’re too old, you’ll struggle with it. There are plenty of places that you can go climbing, ranging in difficulty. If you’re up for a challenge you could try tackling Kilimanjaro or for a real challenge, try reaching Everest base camp. Scaling Everest in its entirety is probably out of question but the base camp is manageable even for people that aren’t experienced climbers.
You could spend the rest of your holidays sat on a beach somewhere but if you really want to get the most out of your life, go on an adventure instead.
